Community Survey
February 27, 2025 - June 30, 2025
As part of the public engagement components of the Unincorporated Monsey, Hillcrest, and Western Ramapo Comprehensive Plan update, an online community survey was developed. The online survey allowed users to choose from four preferred languages – English, Spanish, Creole, and Yiddish – in order to reach a broad population. The purpose of the survey was to gather input from community members, residents, visitors, business owners, and other stakeholders about the Monsey, Hillcrest, and Western Ramapo areas of the unincorporated Town. This information will help inform the overall needs, vision, and proprieties of the Town and help shape the Comprehensive Plan.

Safety Extravaganza Pop-Up Event

MJ hosted a pop-up table at the Town of Ramapo Safety Extravaganza on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, engaging with more than 200 attendees,. Attendees were invited to share their top three (3) challenges and opportunities currently experienced in the unincorporated areas of Monsey, Hillcrest, and Western Ramapo.
Public Open House

The Town of Ramapo invites residents, business owners, and community stakeholders to a Public Open House on Thursday, February 27, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Town of Ramapo Town Hall Council Room to share their thoughts about issues, opportunities, and their vision for the future. This event is part of the Comprehensive Plan Update and Generic Environmental Impact Statement (GEIS) for the unincorporated Monsey, Hillcrest, and Western Ramapo areas.
